A big wish, the american and english participants can avoid please abbreviations like "LSP" and slang language here, because there are other nationalities here. If you do not use abrevations and slang...you can reach many more peoples with your ideas, thanks in advance !
I don't believe it is an American or British thing. Locals will use the same short hand. Lee Super Plaza. No offense intended with this but are you fairly new to the area?
I tried 711s, downtown Robinsons, they said ban was in effect. Heh heh. Then Robinsons grocery in the mall and witnessed a beautifully full stocked shelf ready for buyers. So word in this forum seems to be Lee Plaza and Robinsons grocery in the mall. Life is normal enough for me now. Just need a good beach hangout.
I've been coming to Dumaguete for 20 years and living here for five and haven't heard of LSP either, though I assumed he meant Lee Plaza.
so... the motto appears to be "buy as much as you can while supply lasts". Guess I'm going to take the car for shopping tomorrow
indeed. information about places where a swim is possible without being annoyed by the quarantine police would be highly appreciated.
Never in my 18 years in Dumaguete have I heard it referred to as LSP. Sounds like a drug. Le Plaza is the shortest I am used to.
I had never heard it called that either. I figured it was Lee Plaza but I had to use Google to figure out what the S stood for.
When I bought 5 cases of tequila, jack daniels, seagrams, and black label approx. 1 month ago ............ the packer went to ask the Manager if I could purchase that, The Manager came and asked me what I was going to do with it all. I replied that one bottle is for me and the rest is to bath my dogs. Now that GCQ is on the packer walked by my home yesterday and asked how are my dogs doing. As I don't own any dogs I just replied that they died of alcohol poisoning. The look on his face was priceless.
