I must confess that I become argumentative and just generally grouchy as a result of this quarantine and it shows in my posts and replies.... So I will refrain from any discussion on this $%#$% Covid #$#@@% until it is over and only pitch in when I can be of help .... Stay Safe all
We're all feeling that Dan. I've never been so keyboard addicted until the last few weeks and it's easy to get carried away in thoughts and discussion threads. It's how the comments are accepted by the reader that's the key thing and I guess we all need to bear in mind we are in uncharted territory just now.
I haven't noticed, but there is one on here that loves to be snarky and condescending. I now just ignore his comments and skip over them. They are usually a waste of time to read, and not very enlightening.
It takes a big person to apologize in a public forum. You are a very big person, good on you. We need more people of your like here on earth.
I feel you write what you believe and don't worry too much about what the readers think - writing with one part of the brain worrying about the response tends to distort the true value of your opinion. As long as you keep within the bounds of decency and avoid being offensive to readers then you just accept that you can please some of the people only some of the time.
Sure we all likeand respect him . But I'm still wondering why he apologized and for what. I think we should not be too hypersensitive in this forum. Maybe sombody has a bad day and is ranting a bit over some issues and maybe even choosing some bad words. That is ok for me. As long it is not really insulting a person. I'm also folllowing a Thai expat forum. These guys seem to be a bit more relaxed for such things. Gesendet von meinem SM-N950F mit Tapatalk
