I have no need to fly at present but have seen the multitude of notices and frequently-changing dates and can honestly say I am now more confused than I have even been in my life about anything!
The Governor of Negros Occidental just placed them under MGCQ effective today. They had and still have more positive cases than we have had. No more passes, everyone can go out and all establishments can re-open at 50%. I wonder if anyone has informed our Governor of this, not that I would expect him to care.
Are you talking about those people sitting on their *sses in the shade under the tents along the road that rarely stops anyone? If so they seem to lack the motivation and drive you speak of in your original post...unless their goal was to completely dominate every plastic chair under cheap tents. If they do have plans of world domination through this tent scheme here is how we fight back: when they stop us at a tent make sure we stop at least one meter from any shade and engage them in polite conversation to keep them in the sun as long as possible. I'm pretty sure they are vampires and cannot survive in direct sunlight for more than a couple seconds.
This, again, seems to go against this power hungry thing you mentioned in your original post. People who want to Different language, different region, he doesn't need to care as there is no political gain to be made in following suit. The political and economical ties than matter are on the next island over. There is absolutely no sense in any of us worrying about what Negros Occidental is doing, it will only lead to further frustration. Negros Occidental and Bacolod are completely irrelevant when it comes to this.
Nobody seems to have spotted the maths error in this. Previous day's report stated 402 outstanding test results. Yesterday, 97 negative + 2 positive results = 99, yet the pending results number has only gone down by 97. Along with the 2+2+2=5 maths in the report, makes you wonder whether we should believe anything they put out (online school lessons available from 15th June).
I think you are confused with the last line it says.....97 new RT-PCR results also arrived - ALL ARE NEGATIVE
PAL issued a new advisory 7pm last night now saying they ARE flying to Dumaguete Weds 3rd and Fri 5th Wait around a few hours and it could change again! Passengers are I understand mostly LSI's fully documented with Travel Authority and approved by Dumaguete City and met by LGU officials and transported to 14 day quarantine either the City Gym (free) or LGU arranged Hotel (you pay) WHO ARE LSIs? Locally Stranded Individuals (students, tourists, workers) who have expressed their interest to return to their place of residence. My partner and her 6yo son are in the LSI's arriving Weds 3rd after 10 weeks stranded in Marinduque. Hope it happens
No, not confused Jimeve. 97+2 still = 99, therefore the pending results should have reduced by a further two to 303.
