I was not sure where to post this but i think it might qualify as entertainment. When the alcohol ban was on i was dead against it and could see no reason for it until today, at around 6am my lovely neighbours decided to have a party , loud music, karaoke , shouting, alcohol and all the usual stuff. I thought this was a strange time to start a party but maybe they all came off night shift or something so hey live and let live. Every cloud has a silver lining and sure enough by 12noon the fighting started , broken bottles b*tch slapping the lot and by 1pm all quiet again. I have not really changed my attitude on alcohol but i just think you should not be allowed to drink on an empty head.
That's an idea - IQ testing for alcohol purchase instead of minimum age. Could have a pass system for those that have taken and passed to a minimum standard.
That's a great idea. But what would you set the IQ pass mark at? 80? 90? 100? Be careful not to set it too high, or many of the expats here won't pass
