Last Friday in President Duerte in his TV rambleton speech warned be aware of buying masks online from sellers not in Manila. Masks stolen and sold from Manila hospitals are the only genuine masks. He went on to say that forking over thousands to the shipping boy for masks require them to open the package and let you examine them for authenticity. If they are fake kindly invite the shipping boy into your house where the President said to tie him up, put him in the trunk of your car and take him to the nearest cliff or river and push him in. The President further said if the PNP came just show them the masks you were forced to pay thousands for and a recording of the President telling you what became of disposing the shipping boy. Is the President using humor? I enjoyed it anyway! I almost forgot the President said he went to Church and confessed his sins and obtained absolution to clean the slate. He uttered the words "F_CK You" to one of his perceived enemies. Youtube has the full June 5th speech in Taglish. Do your translation. shakey aka John
Hey @shakey , This video says nothing about the shipping boy. Is this the video you are referring to? The ABS-CBN comment states: President Rodrigo Duterte on Friday told the public to be wary of online scams face masks, adding that dishonest sellers should be "dumped into the Pasig River", as the coronavirus pandemic entered its sixth month. Where is the link to the video you describe?
That is one of many Youtube links. ABS/CBN isn't exactly one of government's friends and he did say the Pasig river but some translations shortened the proper noun Pasig river to just river or cliff. The sellers he was referring to were from the surrounding provinces with no access to the authenticated genuine masks stolen from Manila hospitals. ABS/CBN cleaned up their paraphrased caption to stay friendly with those in government who will decide on their license. Even on Rappler, it was funny anyway. shakey aka John
There are lots of links on Youtube. All are about 1:10 minutes. The official one is here. Rappler has a link about the same length. shakey aka John
