Do you have to have a pass to get into Immigration or always allowed M-F? Also, someone was saying that we are still required to leave before our one year tourist stay is over. I thought the 3 year card they gave me meant that I no longer have to do this and can stay on a tourist visa for up to 3 years before having to exit the country.

 

Can still enter M-F no problem. As for length of stay it varies per country. American can stay up to 3 years now without exit on tourist visa.

This is the most generous visa I have ever heard of . Most other countries require you to leave after 2 or 3 months, and some countries do not allow a return for several months after you leave. I can only guess the reason has something to do with illegal immigrants overstaying and others abusing the system.

 

I was told that some were there at 4am and it did fill up quickly long before 8 am so those walking in at 8 am were surprised to learn it was too late and all filled up.
