Just curious. How often are there problems with their network. I'm planning on getting PhilProducts.
Does it work during a brown out?

Currently I am in Combado Bacong, Fil Products is the only ISP that exists there and subsequently they oversold the area... but if you have something to power the router during a brownout then yes they still work

I also live in Combado. I use Cignal Satellite for TV and Globe Home Prepaid Wifi Portable Modem I had to purchase because Globe doesn’t have a regular wifi line in our Purok. Slow wifi.

But for how long? I have used my battery back up power to use my PLDT router/modem.
Someone on another expat forum said once the internet provider power runs out, then you can't use the internet during a brownout.

    hey pat...
what model ''Globe Home Prepaid Wifi Portable Modem'' are you using?
do you have it in a window or inside the house?
have you tried it on different sides of your house?
does it have ports for an outdoor antenna?

check it's speed with https://fast.com, then take your modem and laptop down to the park asap and see how it compares.

might be you only need a good modem or an antenna...
