Every time a senior goes into Robinson's you need to get a pass from your Barangay captain, that's what a guard told me at robs.

My helper and I tell the Rob. guard I am 58 and we go in. I am PWD so they probably don’t believe but let me in.

J: We have a regular pass for tuesdays and thursdays, so we only hit the mall stores on those days. For the "senior" issue, as i said on another post, "...Several weeks ago, we seniors got a letter from barangay capt says "don't have staff, need to go out" (used more words).. Used it several times, no problems..." Have now used it along with the day pass three times at Robinson's, same letter not different letters.. Same door (back), same guard, same letter...

am hearing now, they are thinking of shoring up the jeepneys with plastic, seperate little spaces for travellers (from a woman who has a jeepney franchise), if you were to sit down and purposefully come up with ways to stagnate and stifle the economy, the crowd here would better you everytime

come july 1st, what is going to change, we will still be in the mumbo jumbo ECQGCQMEQ WTF
they cant keep all the others stranded in Manila, that place will sink soon enough, and still more to come from overseas and all from hotbeds of infection (those who can stay away are trying to toughen it out as long as they can before waving the flag) this place is going to become one of the worst of the whole region (this is not my country, all those in manila are filipino I AM NOT,) im just a welcome visitor, but seriously thinking about bailing from here for a while, what money they could have borrowed they have borrowed and only made the pigs fatter, the sick sicker and the poor poorer, its going to get a whole lot worse here for a good while to come, bring on the vaccines

    They already have.

A weaker peso will help us in the short term. The inflation that will inevitably follow will then break most everyone here. I will hold out until that inflation starts to get out of control. Hopefully the government here takes the proper steps to keep the inflation in check. Lots of lessons in history to learn from when it comes to this, we can only hope they decide to learn from them.

Two more Covid-19 cases today in the province (guy returning from Cebu and passed it on to his wife). Both now isolated, but no doubt will have passed on to others before that. The isolation and testing is being mishandled to such an extent that there will inevitably be more cases and we will be in GCQ for a while yet.

The male coming back from Cebu was, allegedly, a police officer and may not have been placed under the "mandatory" 14 day quarantine. The second, female, case was his girlfriend. Should be fun doing a contact trace on this one.
