    if anybody is leaving before july15 and is going to the states please email me
    filmguy695@gmail.com would really appreciate it. I have to get a power of attorney to a friend of mine in the states and lbc dhl and fed x are not taking packages to the states. i just need you to mail an envelope this would really save my @ss.

    Why not just go to the Post Office and send it airmail express. It is a little bit more expensive, but it usually gets to its destination within 10 days tops.

    I have used it in the past and you get a USPS tracking number for it. Haven't tried it since the quarantines, but might be worth a shot.

    I think the man doesnt want to put his faith in a 3rd world postal system, that has no accountability and considering its a legal document, trying to find another who is actually leaving the country and to take it would be the sensible/intelligent option, as opposed to "TAKING A SHOT"

    in answer to the post office i was told that right now nothing but a diplomatic pouch is going to the U.S. so if you send something it just sits in a warehouse until planes start flying packages to the U.S. or in the case of lbc fed x or dhl they won't even accept the document.

    If it is very important I would choose DHL. Not cheap, but reliable.

    You did not say what it is for, nor is it my business.
    If the POA is for IRS tax representation purposes, a FAX is acceptable.

    Perhaps a FAX is acceptable for your reason as well.

    Well so far I have "Taken a Shot" every time I have to return the Social Security Annual Report and other documents required by my one of my retirement funds and have always had success. I even sent my income tax return one time before I began on-line filing. It is all up to the individual.

    I'll keep my ears open, I have a friend who is desperately trying to leave, waiting on the next sweeper flight. I'll watch this thread and let you know if he can get out.

    If your friend in America consults with his attorney who approves of a faxed POA notarized here by any local attorney, I have used Bethel for international faxing.

    I sold property in the US and handled the paperwork by fax.
