It's hardly surprising it's still spreading, I was in a line waiting for the bank to open 2 meter distance and women in front of me was facing towards me, she was not wearing a mask then she gave out a loud chesty cough, she just managed to put up her hand to cover her mouth. Then another women stood in between us, I said social distance madam, and some just laughed. until the guard made her go to the back of the line.
A good case for those who repeatedly insisted here and elsewhere that masks are of use ONLY for the infected (since disagreed with by most countries) to see why wearing a mask yourself can be a life saver.
Reminds me of school ... but, seriously, if this woman is infected they have just given more chance of it being spread.
Yahoo Life has an article from a study done be New England Journal of Medicine, dated July 8, of 2000 patients In Spain and Italy with Covid-19 that those with Type O Blood were slightly less susceptible to acquiring the disease while Blood Type A was higher.
As I read some minor news items, the Philippines, though being far from science-illiterate, does not have the resources to support a lab and seek a Covid vaccine. It will however, supply test subjects (guinea pigs) for the vaccines of others. Probably the one under development by mainland China.
