Hello All, New member Expat resident who has been living in Puerto Galera, then Subic Bay for the last 19 years. We will be moving our liveaboard boat towards bottom end of Negros and need to reposition our 2 cars from PG to Dumaguete first before slowly sailing down towards Bais or Bonbonon. Anticipate parking cars for 2-3 months once we arrive and am looking for monthly storage in a secure location, so that we can have vehicles available for exploring a new area for us. Any suggestions around Dumaguete region where we can leave/store the cars? Thanks for your help!

There is an Australian guy down at the bottom of Negros. Perhaps you know him.. if not I can try to put you in touch with him if you were thinking of leaving the cars down there near where you presumably will arrive.

You may have already done so, but it seems imperative to me to find out first whether your plan to "reposition" private cars to Dumaguete is currently doable in view of all the Covid travel restrictions, and beyond that, your plan to sail a private ship down from Subic Bay may need similar enquiries. I imagine the travel restrictions to apply to private ships just like they do for commercial ferries, which means you might be not allowed to dock, or be subject to quarantine measures in every port of call.
