Really? Not yet seen this anywhere else. If it's true, the world truly has gone mad. Can I have some of what he's on?
Not sure what the benefit will be. It could have some benefits by keeping aerosol particles out of your eyes. If people are wearing masks and social distancing the face shield might be a bit of overkill. Just my opinion. Sigh.
"Can I have some of what he's on?" My guess is Angel Dust, glad my experimenting days are over. I will pass on trying some dust... But i will take a cut from the ones importing this BS...
Another policy as well thought out as the back rider shield, and will suffer the same fate after they separate enough money from the people who can least afford it.
Maybe, maybe not. But they may delay the start date instead of "immediately" to give people time to find/buy them (assuming the news story is true, at least about the "immediate" part).
Makes it appear that the establishment is still actively combating CV 19. When in reality they have LOST it. All the Lock Downs and hardship squandered as they allowed all sorts of returning workers to move about with little effective isolation or proper testing. One good fact though the (declared) number deaths from CV are small, have to treat the sky high infection numbers like mosquito bites. I feel sorry for those with no work, no food and little hope that it will be over soon. Face shield another window dressing exercise.
But take heart, there will be a vendor sitting outside the entrance to sell you one at a higher price.
Got three yesterday @ P65 each. Last week they were P85-100. The wife said she saw them inside Lee Plaza at P55.
i believe the answer to all of this will lay in the numbers that come out at the end of the third quarter. i predict another big loss in the phils with subsequent lowering of the debt rating from the present BBB+ (correct?) to something less. an immediate rise in the cost of money and continued decline in revenues. surely that will reverse the direction of this idiocy. for my part, i have not shopped at rob's mall in four months. i keep shrinking my world and moving down the food chain to smaller and smaller venues who could care less about covid. there are hundreds of little vendors now outside the downtown area selling all basic foods and lots of household stuff. "every life, every society, every species is an experiment. it all ends in death eventually." will durant from "the lessons of history"
