Yes - if we go back to the 'old normal' we will be eating raw flesh, veg., fruit and nuts. Not a bad diet but hardly likely to excite most people. Even that dangerous drug alcohol has the benefit of giving feelings of joy and even reducing stress below harmful levels.

Anyway, we "elderly" (the ones not handsome enough or important enough to be hacked!) just need to enjoy every day and consume within reason.

I am a submissive by nature! Shabby told me to wear a blonde wig, Cabb suggested eye shadow (not eyebrows, but how are people supposed to know that!) and I included eyeliner - now it is facial jewelry! I notice @Always a Poppy has posted a suggestion for a nose ring!

Because of my desire to please and with @Rye83 telling me I am currently not handsome enough to be hacked, watch that space!

I'm not sure about the raw flesh thing, fire isn't exactly a new invention (maybe it is relatively new for some of you old farts here, along with the invention of dirt), but many great dishes can be made from very basic spices and whole food ingredients. Plenty to be excited about with a balanced healthy whole food diet.

I only recently (relative to the time since the Big Bang) became aware of fire. I agree with your views on "balanced healthy whole food diet" (and the results show for themselves - you are hackable!) and how much healthier the world would be if we went back a few hundred years.

Fire: "Claims for the earliest definitive evidence of control of fire by a member of Homo range from 1.7 to 2.0 million years ago. Evidence for the "microscopic traces of wood ash" as controlled use of fire by Homo erectus, beginning some 1,000,000 years ago, has wide scholarly support." Not so far off my age!

It wonderful that so many people want to help NMRN improve their appearance. The project could be more daunting than we think.
Is there anyone on this site with major projects experience, maybe an accountant to handle the finances?
Could someone with internet savy start a GO FUND ME page.
Let's all chimp in and do what we can for this naughty monkey.

    "Improve"!!! Is that even possible?

Can I offer to handle the finances, please - subs will be based on your seniority on the Forum, so Mr R pays the most! I will add my own contribution once all others have paid (and @jimeve, you also have to pay for 'friends' who you seek advice here on behalf of, a bit like having too many properties in Monopoly*), honestly.

I give my blessing to a 'Go FU** Me' page, whatever it is. Is that similar to a 'Go FU** Yourself' page, as that has been suggested to me many times?

And how did you know I am "naughty"? I spend my time trying to persuade people I am quite the opposite - that one failed then.

One slightly negative point in your otherwise remarkable posting for a human, I am an ape and not a monkey: "Apes are generally more intelligent than monkeys, and most species of apes exhibit some use of tools. While both monkeys and apes can use sounds and gestures to communicate, apes have demonstrated higher ability with language, and some individual apes have been trained to learn human sign languages." I have used a tool ( ) and also I know some signs, but won't illustrate them here!
