Of topic a bit but a guy was mentioned on here before and I have just been reading heaps about him as part of a group called Dumaguete City Expats on Facebook. Wilson and Lopez. Worth a look by those who were following this a couple of years back. Just do a search on Facebook for Dumaguete City Expats and scan down to a post placed by a guy named Joshua Santos. Plenty to read and even some stuff by the husband of the women who owns the place out at Ajong on the beach.

Yes you would have to join the group but they are more than happy to have as many people on board as they can get for this one. They really want some publicity but I didnt want to open it up on here because I think you may not approve of the way some of these write their posts. sometimes a bit agro.

I am therefore reluctant to open this as a new topic and anyway, I always seem to run into problems when I try to do that. It seems there isnt a simple path into creating new topics, or should I say, if there is one I havent found it. lol

Yes there is, from whatever page/post/topic you are at, click on the "forum" button in the menu at the top of the page, that opens a list of all the subforums, which have a neat blue button to the right of their name that reads "open new topic".

My friend, Andrea Guarnieri, was murdered in Dauin at his home March 29 2019. Apparently, the crime, like many here, has not been solved. Sad, I hope his family in Italy fights to keep the case open.

I have heard about this case--too bad that the incident is going down the drain, without leads nor suspects tied up to the case. This is very similar to the numerous killing or shooting incidents that have happened in this province involving different personalities---politicians, lawyers, farmers, parking lot attendant, etc. Authorities seem to be facing a blank wall all the time. Tsk--tsk--tsk...if they could only pursue every case without stopping.
