Yesterday, Oct.2, is considered WORLD SMILE DAY. Most of us didn’t know until we come upon a post telling us that it is so. A smile costs nothing. Yet, in our haste and crazy mental activities we often forget to wear one when we step out of our walled homes. A smile is not only worn on Oct.2— it is supposed to be something we do everyday. I will try to have one everyday from now on. But the real real reason why I am sharing this is this beautiful photo of smiling faces: I have no idea why I can’t share the photo—
I read that too, then went to do a check. Not true, number 3 is Switzerland, they didn't even come in the top 20. That according to the Forbes posting from the results in March 2020. I didn't reply to that post as I didn't want to begin a war.
From priceonomics..com, a somewhat neutral source lol, the Philippines as a “land of smiles” is a myth; “Perhaps not surprisingly, America, with its penchant for extroversion, is home to the smiliest members of LinkedIn. Residents of former Eastern Bloc countries (Romania, the Czech Republic, and Poland) have the lowest smile scores, as do residents of developing nations like India, Venezuela, and Colombia.” I suppose the source, linked-in can be disputed but give me a better way of measuring this and I will listen haha.
