i am thinking double or triple the cost of "local". i have compared prices previously and could not justify the difference. good thread here. i have wondered about the sources. you see honey in buckets (bring your own jar) and the sale at the apo island dock. never did trust those as the honeycomb in the bucket looked to be a hundred years old also see jars of it for sale in local markets i agree it is one of the most adulturated/concocted products in the world. i buy GVT at cangs which is at least the expected color and viscosity. if we are all happy eating make believe honey wonder what it says about the real thing?
I take back some of what I said. Rather than taste the honey by spreading it on toast, I tried a few spoonfuls and noticed a sweet but chemical taste that is not at all like the honey I remember from years past. I am fairly sure this product came from the US as advertised but due to the shortage of bees, they may making substitutions and the current US may not be the benchmark of quality either. I agree with your views on healthy diet but would add a note about the psychological benefits of having things you enjoy. I can see that @Liverpool fan drink is giving him nutritional benefits and making him feel happy (camper) and relaxed at the start of the day.
Define "healthy". Bacon, chicken, lard, butter, olive oil, beans, dairy, vegetables, all kinds of fruits, deserts, coffee and alcohol are all part of my diet. Some may say that some of those things are really bad for your health but I would disagree. If it fits your macros (IIFYM or "flexible dieting") is a great way to build a proper and healthy diet without missing out on the things you love to eat that make you happy. Nothing really needs to be excluded. Obviously you should avoid junk/prepackaged/heavily processed foods when possible even though they could easily "fit you macros" since they lack the micronutrients you need but I think it is just common sense to eat those things in moderation. Didn't he say the honey makes the drink taste "tolerable"? When I screw up in the kitchen those meals tend to be tolerable but if that were a regular thing I would have given up a long time ago. Tolerable is bordering on failure IMO. The same ingredients could be added to meals that taste far better than tolerable to reap the same health benefits.
I totally agree that a healthy and balanced diet is the basis for a healthy life, and I think about what I eat without being fanatic. It's also very individual what and how much we need, depending on age and physical exercise, I'm 60+ and know magnesium and calcium is a good supplement so I take that together with b and c vitamin, no I'm not fanatic just want a healthy lifestyle and for sure I can feel a difference if I don't exercise and eat junk food, it happens most often if I travel or are away from home. It's just a routine to take my vitamins daily and I don't really think that much about it. I have been looking for a bee farm where they sell the honey, but not found any here nearby Dumaguete area, like all other kinds of food best by direct from the source, 2 times a week fishermen come to my door in the morning and sell fish and it's fresh, directly from the sea, taste very different from what I can buy at the market
I don't agree all need to be a pleasure or taste good, I'm sure you try to feel the pain when you exercise, some say that's not healthy, I like the pain from exercise and I'm sure the benefit from my "healthy" drink is worth the taste of sharp ginger calmed down with honey, all ingredients full of vitamins and minerals
I enjoy most everything I eat or drink and actively try to avoid "tolerable". Different strokes I suppose. If it makes you feel better then I suppose it is "good" in its own way. Some have no idea what they are taking about.

I am sure I could find many fancy definitions but IMO it is something which makes a positive contribution to the body (physical and mental). 'Unhealthy' therefore would be something having a negative effect. Of course there are things input to the body that have both effects, so it is a matter of balance. It would also depend on many other factors, such as age, existing health (where a medicine would be a positive benefit although it may have a negative impact on some parts of the body) and what a person wants to achieve.
"beauty is in the eye of the beholder" . conventional wisdom is just that, what is accepted as correct as of today. i can remember when margarine was going to save human civilization
