Saw this and though I thank the poster for being informative, I said “meh” to myself. John Lewis in Cebu and Manila, Tesco’s dotted here n there. It’s usually crap packaged stuff and over-priced to boot.

It’s just a moan and please forgive me, but you cannae have a good leek, nor cover ye lasses bun with good cream. In terms of having a fresh fingerling there’s no hope. And as to wishing for a decent sausage presented first thing in the morning I do my best. I’ve tried shucking, and frosted the odd cake or two, but warm waters and lack of hard flour has left me without. I like some afters, but I can’t get a decent set of builders to finish the job. I’ve tried munching on the odd clam, but she says I “Yam” and would rather I nip to the offie for some Wray n Ting. As to pasties...don’t get me started, as raw as a witches tit ‘less she’s warmed her oven. I could go on. Tesco’s. Bah.

I'm with you on that one,
I have tried "English" sausages from various deli's in Dumaguete but they all are made with beef, anyone know where to get a traditional English pork sausage ?

    I don't know.
Have you tried the empanadas? They are every bit as good as pasties.

You should get an abhorrent for that one!

Don't ever cross the Tamar, my friend, for you will be in great peril.
