    I am trying to send a txt message to my brother in Scotland..
    His number is +44756211xxxx I tried putting 00 in place of the plus+ ahead of the 44 country code. I also tried to put a 0 in between the country code 44 and the 75621.
    Does anyone have any idea??

    We assume and hope you are using the numeral zero, 00, and not the letter O.

    No 0 in use, + in front of country code then the number. Denmark's country code is +045, only +45 will works for you

    If your phone is open to make international calls +44 followed by the number you have will work. +44 is for the UK which includes Scotland. No further spaces. No additional zeros.

    Tried that.. even loaded the international roaming and txt thing from Globe.

    I assume your recipient in Scotland cannot use Viber (not referring here to Viber Out) - none of my siblings at home even know how to turn on a computer, so I use Viber Out for calling and texts.

    They must be very, very old. My mother passed away at the age of 93. But she knew how to use Skype and Whatsapp.

    Skype and Whatsapp only work with internet or wifi. If you live here you should know that you can still txt and phone without internet.. Not every place in the world has the wonderfull internet service we have here..
