There may not be much of an improvement from implementing more restrictions.
If people followed the existing rules that might be enough. In the City people wear a mask and social distance. As soon as they are back in their barangay many just do their own thing.

I agree. I hope it is enough, but I doubt it. Because I do not hold much hope into a safe and effective vaccine arriving to Negros anytime soon, and if ever it does, that enough doses will be made available to vaccinate enough people on our island to create a herd immunity large enough to end the possibility of a new wave of the virus erupting again. IMHO our only true hope is for herd immunity to form here naturally. But unfortunately reaching herd immunity during an unnatural man-made lock down, will take years and years, due to the masses remain as SARS-CoV-2 virgins who hide behind locked doors (in their chastity belts) awaiting their dashing Prince Vaccine to come rescue them from the fire-breathing dragon virus outside their palace windows. Makes for a nice child's fairy tale, but should be dismissed by grown adults as malarkey mixed with a touch of balderdash.

I think by the end of 2021 NegOr will have had some type of vaccine available here, probably earlier. I'm still hoping the current spread can be stopped. But the spread in Siaton is dis heartening. We shall see.

Just come out and say the Fiesta and any Charter Day celebrations for the year are cancelled completely. What is so hard about doing that?
