Recently read (in DI, I think), that NORECO II bills can be paid at selected independent outlets, including Cang's in city centre. Asked there and told not so. Went to Market Place NORECO II office as usual and asked there, to be told 'only here and NORECO II main Office'. OK, I thought, clearly somebody has posted wrong info. Now see a feed on here leading to a Twitter post by NORECO II (19th March) that can pay at selected bank branches (quite a few to choose from). Problem is, I don't believe it!! Has anyone tried?

Have you tried navigating your bank's ATM payment options? There is a reason it takes locals so long at the ATM. It's because they are paying bills and entering account numbers. Give it a go and see what bills you can pay from the ATM. Seven-eleven's "CLiQQ" service offers several utility payment options as well, though I see nothing for NORECO on the app. Maybe one of the pawn shops offers NORECO payment options? Unlikely but worth a look.

i checked with Huillier (iirc) several months ago and they only accepted noreco 1 (noreco one) payments. noreco 1 looks to be north of Bais.

Asia United Bank accepts NORECO II payments. I am not sure if they can accept them if there are any late fees due. I am fairly certain you must have your paper Noreco bill, too, since they keep that. Use the little kiosk just inside the door to fill out the request and get your service number. The guard can help if you have trouble or questions. My number is usually called even before I can "Have a seat, sir". Of course, NORECO employees likely would not know of anywhere other than their own offices. They are little more than automatons when it comes to work. Customer service? LIke answering questions beyond their little scope? Forget it.

They will only accept payments on an up to date current Bill, on your Meter ticket it will say CURRENT

That only means it was current when the meter was read. If you wait more than the grace period, it is not current but the penalties don't magically show up on the bill you have in your hand.

    I don't know.
I Know current is an electrical term, but why not make it simple and call it an Electric Bill?

I use the online method of paying from my bank (BDO) to one of the nominated NORECO accounts in several banks they list. I then email my bank transfer receipt to an email address NORECO provides and get an email back within 2 days with the official NORECO receipt attached. Been doing it since March and works like clockwork.

Yes, I'm now doing that too now and no problems. I might try the Lazada payment route next time though as I already have the app.
