I heard that neighbourhood karaoke gatherings are not allowed at the moment because of the risk of covid transmission. Anyone know if that's true? Tried to use it as an argument when calling Valencia police to complain about a particularly noisy karaoke session nearby, and the police have done... precisely nothing. Clearly too many beers to be drunk and donuts to be eaten, anything resembling real police work just gets in the way of them enjoying their day.
It is allowed if the singers have special talent only! Our next door neighbors also had a birthday kareoke gathering here last night. We are thankful they ended it at 11PM.
It doesn't matter if it is true or not. You already know that enforcement isn't going to happen either way. Get some noise cancelling headphones and enjoy the peace and quiet.
What you say is true. I never thought of it that way. The next time a neighbor fires up the machine I'll have a few beers and try and enjoy. As an occasional participant in the slaughter of music I can state (with authority) there are 3 basic stages of drunkenness. 1) after a couple of beers people think they are smarter. 2) after some more beer they think they are charming and much better looking than they really are. 3) with enough beer they think they can sing karaoke.
Funny you should mention this. As often as not, there's money involved in the drinking/karaoke parties. Someone has rented the machine. The venue is being rented for the party and alcohol is sold.
lol. Maybe a beer ot two in the day, but gimmi 5 shots of Tanduay before bed for the win. It's MO fun in the Philippines. BTW............ Just bought the Wife a new Karaoke. Let's get this party started.
