I for one am still totally happy. Still laughing because New Years day after I had to pull over beside a bus stop as I felt a huge vomit moment coming on, I ejected all of which was in my stomach (alot BTW) 3 other persons watching me also joined in and started vomiting! Can't say I don't inspire others yah know......................... It's MO fun in the Philippines.
Great year? Hopefully, as the trend from 2020 continues and it's getting worse. Starting a year in limited freedom is not a great year indeed.
My wife, 2 kids and myself had the best time of our life. We never felt boring, sad or depressed. We enjoyed all the time together. We did also more together. But we can understand that for some of them it isn't easy. My wife still doesn't work. Let's just hope this 'thing' will quickly be just a bad dream! Hold on folks! Like some one ever said...'Yes we can'!
Didn't have to wait long. Millions dying: There have already been around 1.5 million deaths this year. (Looks like a bit more than 1 death per second.) https://www.worldometers.info/ Bureaucratic governments on overload: Nothing has changed since last year. If anything it will get worse. https://www-bbc-com.cdn.ampproject....ampshare=https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-55516277 Freedoms severely curtailed: Plenty of lock downs happening. China still exists so about 20% of the world population is living under a repressive regime. Plenty of other governments that are far worse than them still exist. https://amp-washingtontimes-com.cdn...al-liberty-during-a-covid-19-pandemic-induce/ Opportunistic gouging of consumers: Again, nothing has changed. Just one example: https://www.ktnv.com/news/coronavirus/price-gouging-continues-as-covid-19-cases-rise Children scarred for life: Domestic violence on the rise. https://www.webmd.com/lung/news/202...ing-rise-in-domestic-violence-during-pandemic This year will be no different than any other year. Bad sh*t happens all the time.
