That makes zombies very careless and inconsiderate - apologies to any zombies on the Forum.

2021, great, not. Had my second flood in two weeks. The first one when the storm hit(hole in roof) Now the second, pipe leaking so got a plumber in to fix it.
Bad mistake. He fixed the small leak and said to me, don't turn on the water on for an hour, so what does he do, turns it on before returning to his sari sari store.
4am the dogs barking, wife woke me up shouting flood. Ran up stairs turned off the water wading through the water. Sala, kitchen flooded, got most of it moped up. Went to the plumber and woke him up, his wife said he only got in at 3 am I don't give a shi!t my house is flooded tell him to fix it.
He went to fix the problem but needed more plastic pipe. Got some pipe but when I got back home he was fast a sleep. That red horse must have been good.
Problem not fixed, small leak again and the pressure gauge shows 35 psi, should be 20 psi.

Sorry to hear that - no 'sympathy' icon here but hope your problems get sorted asap.

Btw, there is a tape which binds pipes and is supposed to very effective. Not in my house currently so can't check its name.

yeah, got the white tape and solvent cement. Problem now is the pressure tank, only reading zero supposed to be 20 psi or 1.5 bar.
Got a proper plumber coming Monday (hopefully) he will sort it all out. (fingers crossed)

I am aware you have a booking for an expert (fingers crossed!) but for reference, the tape I referred to is 'Flex Tape' - I bought some from Shopee but have not yet used it. I put a pic below. I am sceptical about using is as a flat sheet but more confident if binding a leaking pipe.

I think the "white tape" you refer to is PTFE and is used to make a threaded joint more efficient - any decent plumber should (IMO) use it when making a threaded joint. The solvent is, of course, for non-threaded joints.

    https://www.manilatimes.net/2021/01...-cayetano-files-vaccine-passport-bill/830378/

    Summary:

[Concerns filing of a Bill "that seeks to provide “vaccine passports” for all Filipinos." Note: "Filpinos"]

The Bill would "put on record who has been inoculated with which kind of vaccine, when and how many doses were administered, and other matters... ... the vaccine passports, which shall primarily be digital but shall also be available through printed copies .... would allow the government to monitor the distribution of vaccines, their effects on people, the overall effectiveness of the immunization program, and to gather data for post-market surveillance."

"The vaccine passport shall contain" [various information re the vaccine, date of vaccination, vaccination centre, vaccinator. It does not mention any ID of the recipient but I guess that is a given.]

The measure further recommended that individuals vaccinated against Covid-19, as indicated in their vaccine passports, may be granted certain benefits or exemptions, subject to guidelines issued by .... IATF.

These benefits could include international travel, as may be allowed in foreign jurisdictions; non-essential domestic travel; local checkpoint and quarantine exemptions; and access to business establishments allowed to operate during the “New Normal”.

[So, as many thought, 'no passport, no entry to business establishments' (meaning medical and dental also, as they are businesses). But as this is stated to be for "Filipinos", where do "foreign aliens" (a tautological term I used on the Forum once as a joke but now see being used in the media) fit in? And how does anyone carrying a card get a CHECKpoint exemption? Don't they have stop you to CHECK? Or do they mean you will be checked and then allowed through if you have the card?].

As credible as CNN . Not that it matters much to me. I'm so cynical a barely believe my own eyes. As always verify and verify. My point being if the world believes the vaccine prevents infection and it doesn't, what's the point of waiting for it?
