Marvin Gaye, superstar. I can’t confirm or deny on my bird but when she checks the house she is building the workers stop working.
I’m no expert...but at best guess as I had to look them up: rufous lored Kingfishers, Maroon named sun birds, visayan fan tails, halas Manok, flame tempted babblers and umpteen others I couldn’t name or be bothered to look up. We do pretty well where we live and I love it when odd sorts turn up. I ask the wife what they are and v pleasing to the day it is when we see something rarely, seldom, frequently seen. Love to watch the kingfishers sally forth ang sa bay bay too after a hard day watching the world go by. Your resident Celtic Deity approves, puts his dear little heart in touch with the green. I miss a decent Dawn chorus from home though...begins Feb lasts until June. Sigh. Unlike the Bleddy karaoke chainsaw choir. I’m going to start sending thunderbolts sooner or later. Great choice for a thread. Stop, pause, there’s some incredible stuff with wings out there. Well done GB. Welcome. cheers, C
I also am a fan of the t*ts - also known as the titmouse family - and liked the blue tit (which I saw usually in colder weather), bearded tit (ticklish, so got my razor out) and the long-tailed tit. Also a fan of the shags, boobies, red-breasted anything and the wren (designed St Paul's, so very talented birds). EDIT: Just noticed that TIT is fine but the plural gets a '*'. LOL. Almost as bad as 'wee wee hole'!
