Any summer classes that are being offered in Dumaguete that are not conducted online? Like swimming, robotics, martial arts, arts, or cooking? Anything! I’m desperate.
Sorry to deflate you but I think the Covid situation will prevent any classes this summer (perhaps next one too!). I have a relative in Dumaguete trying to sell a Taekwondo kit but there are no classes, so no buyers.
There is a gym (dont know the name) between Uymatiao Trading and Robinsons on Perdices Street. I was in there two weeks ago, they have evening lessons in Muay Thai and Jujitsu, Monday through to Friday. Not sure about daytime classes and whether its adults or kids or both. Maybe just pop in and enquire.
I think I saw Liquid resort in Dauin advertise kids' classes in their gym. Saturday morning if I remember correctly.
I'm curious what the name of this gym is. Checked Google maps and couldn't see anything in the two buildings between those two businesses.
Sorry I dont know the name of it. Its a small entrance between the buildings I mentioned earlier, you have to go up a flight of stairs to the entrance. It's actually opposite Nova Hotel. To describe it as a gym may be incorrect, it really looks more like a dojo, it has a matted area and punchbags/kick bags etc.
Kumon Dumaguete Learning Center offers year round math and reading modular and once a week online classes. We supplement that with bike riding and swimming when available. Still, with no soccer practices or matches the boy is getting a little chubby.
You can't outwork bad nutrition. Nutrition is key to manipulating body composition. Work less, eat less. Work more, eat more. Being a growing child complicates things. Children should be in a constant "bulk" phase until they are in their teenage years since they are constantly growing. How many calories a child should eat in excess of their TDEE per day is complicated and beyond my knowledge on the subject.
What type of bike riding and do the kids have own bikes? There is a group called Loose Riders Dumaguete that do mountain biking its a international group and I guy called Wendal runs the Dumaguete group. They have some kids coaching done my Wendals brother JR. https://www.facebook.com/looseridersdumaguete
