I am not sure about the brand Uratex. Foam mattress stores in dumaguete include: Dew Foam Mandaue Foam, near Hypermart You can get coil mattresses at Du Ek Sam. Maybe foam too. I have found that coil mattresses feel cooler to sleep on.
Is this the brand that is about as hard as a rock? The ones at Mandaue foam are painful to even sit on for more than a few minutes.
I bought one only yesterday - now I have to re-evaluate what my wife meant when she exclaimed "Wow! That's hard".
It's pretty 'hard'. They call it here 'first class' mattress. I have it for years and I sleep on it pretty well. Some prefer a little softer foam. You have to look around and test it out what is best for you.
I'm used to a double pillow mattress. These rock hard foam mattress are torture. If I fall asleep on my side I will wake up shortly with a numb arm. I find sleeping on the couch much more comfortable these days...but maybe that is just the excessive pandemic tanduay consumption giving an assist.
My parents used to put a piece of plywood under the coil spring mattress on the box frame. (The box frame also has springs.) This made the bed firmer.
