Marijuana.. any help? Looking to try..

That can land you in quite a bit of trouble in the Philippines. A single joint could result in serious jail time and deportation. While I personally see marijuana as much less of a harm to society than alcohol and believe it should be legalized we can't really have this type of discussion openly here. Also, I doubt anyone would trust a complete stranger online and put themselves or their supplier at risk.

 

Weed is extremely common here (with both locals and foreigners), you can catch the scent all over the place. It only takes a minimal amount of socializing at the bars to find it... especially if you are familiar with the personality types that use it. If you have ever used you can easily identify people who can hook you up, they stick out like a sore thumb. Of course, this isn't so easy for many that have never used or served in law enforcement. However, almost any person can identify the personality types that would never contact the police.

Chances of getting busted using weed are pretty slim, especially for someone with the slightest bit of common sense. Chances of getting busted for just asking about weed is even smaller, assuming you don't go directly up to a uniformed police officer to ask. If you see a foreigner that is wearing rags/very inexpensive clothing, flip-flops (or none at all), is friendly and/or appears to be quite neurotic you can bet that these people, even if they don't use, can point you in the right direction or, at worst, just tell you to p*ss off without calling the police.

To the OP. Learn the risks and know the legal repercussions. If you accept these risks (not that I'm condoning the activity) go out and socialize at some of the bars. You will very quickly find like minded individuals. (The only thing to watch out for is American conservatives/trump supporters/election or QAnon conspiracy theorists or anyone else with a stick firmly planted up their @ss.)
