Would it be possible to bring your VISA card to a bank and make a withdrawal of 50K? I did that a couple of times when I lived in Thailand. Same fee as for an ATM.
(Made in reference to 'The Boss') But then, The Boss also said he would tow Sibulan into the ocean and sink it!
I made that mistake once. Cash advances are possible but are not considered normal transactions with most credit card companies. They come with a hefty interest rate even if you do pay it off in full at the end of the month. I use credit cards to make money/get a percentage of my monthly expenses discounted (through points/cash back). I credit card companies never make any money off interest rate from me. Thanks. I will consider some AstroTurf type of material or mats in combination with some plants. My gf keeps saying she is interested in growing some plants, I'll call her on it and try to put her to work. I'm just concerned that I will be the one that ends up doing all the work because in her words, "I have a job and you have a lot of free time". So the less maintenance that needs to be done the better.
I am using a debit card! There were no fees involved apart from the actual trading fee (just like for an ATM withdrawal). The bank I am using is one of the new style Internet based banks that has popped up in Europe, Revolut! Their exchange rates for currencies are much better than general banks and you are allowed to have multiple currency accounts. I see no reason to open a local bank account at all actually.
You are both very astute - many stores do a great line in plastic flowers but I guess she will notice! In terms of real flowering plants, as mentioned before on the Forum, 'White Angel' is very impressive and easy to maintain.
I would prefer some plants that have some utility other than shade or looking pretty. Something I can eat or use to cook with. I'll ask the SO to look into it. If there is procrastinating on it then I guess I will start doing some research myself.
Automobile, frost free refrigerator, A/C, plants and now cooking. FYI: Although it may make logical sense to you because she has a job and you have a lot of free time, the SO is not going to be happy when you want to stay home to take care of the baby while she works. (and do not mention the thought of getting a nanny under these circumstances.)
Chillies look good as they ripen over a period of time, so giving variations of colour in the fruits. I think you are a fan of chillies.
I'm growing some peppers from seeds I got from a Jalapeno pepper (hot) easy to grow and look good, they start green and later turn red. Only planted them 2 weeks ago so still a few months to go.
