Vaxx, Delta, two shots are good, one shot no.
New Delhi: A new study has claimed that the COVID-19 vaccines are 'highly effective' against hospitalisation from the highly transmissible Delta variant of concern, which was first identified in India.

The analysis published by the Public Health England (PHE) on Monday (June 14, 2021) said that the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is 96% effective against hospitalisation after 2 doses, while the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine is 92% effective against hospitalisation after two shots.

A province-wide liquor ban will be implemented in Negros Oriental as it is placed under modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) from June 16 to 30, 2021.
This was announced by Provincial Inter-Agency Task Force (PIATF) Spokesperson Bimbo Miraflor in a press briefing this afternoon, June 15, 2021.
Drinking and selling of liquor will be prohibited, while karaoke bars and other entertainment establishments are not allowed to operate, Miraflor added.

Until 6 months ago, there were still doctors scared of "how fast the vaccines had been created", they have better info now.
Among nurses, sadly, we still hear a lot of "Natural News" and Robert Kennedy jr rehashed quack.
[ More than 96 percent of surveyed U.S. physicians have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19. ]
Of the physicians who are not yet vaccinated, an additional 45 percent do plan to get vaccinated.

Is there a sound reason for this?

Is it better to enforce wearing masks rather than to cut off alcohol supplies? Might alcohol even be killing off some virus on its passage through the mouth?

Is this again just bad decision-making or have I missed something?

    Who are you asking?

If you followed Cebu the reason is plain as day. An entire citio became infected when an isolated asymptomatic escaped and had a drinking session with his buddies. They tested his buddies three days later and all were infected. A few days later they tested their contacts and all were infected and everyone was asymptomatic. (Cue for Skipjack ) It's an unpopular answer, but it's true.

And 65% alcohol is recommended for cleaning.
