Boris Jonson 57, Joe Biden 78 - who's electing the "old & senile"?

    That's commonly known as Communism

Why so defensive? The comment wasn't just directed at the UK. People like Trump and Biden are too old (and mentally unstable) to be holding those positions IMO.

Not defensive at all, just an illustration. I couldn't agree more about the instability of the aged incumbents in the USA and the UK just has a buffoon, ably assisted by a whole front bench of them.

The Brexit negotiations under May were not going anywhere - certainly not to the UK's benefit. The electorate (i.e. those who voted) voted for Brexit and so elected the Tories, under a firm Brexiteer, to get it done. I have voted Labour most of my life (with a few periods of forlorn hope in the LibDems) but I recognise they would have either reneged on the Brexit vote or kept us as vassals of the EU. People in the UK are fed up with people legally trying to gain residency being refused, after spending thousands of pounds on Visa (and sometimes legal) fees, but thousands illegally entering and being aided by the State. Boris is no longer important to Brexit but Labour is currently unelectable because people know they will open the gates and send out the rescue boats en masse to assist illegal immigration. With a small country, housing insufficient for the current population, schools having students with a dozen different languages and essential services far less accessible than 50 years ago, people will not vote for any government which fails to introduce and enforce a system whereby the country gets the immigration it needs and through legal channels.

There needs to be an enquiry into why shite become politicians - although we already know the answers. The UK electoral system means that many MPs get elected simply because they stand in a safe seat. Even Winnie-the-Pooh would win in one of those seats - but that's fine as he would make a better politician than many of the existing. Boris is a real sleaze - but everything sleazy he does gets ignored. He has put family and friends into paid positions of power and hardly an eye blinked. He sees himself as invincible and the electorate confirmed that for him.

With certain young people as PM I would emigrate - oh! I already have!

Surely that is 'dictatorship' as there are forms other than communism. IMO, a benign dictatorship is preferable to many forms of government in existence today.

The Coalition under Cameron didn't do much, he used the Lib Dems leader of the time Nick Clegg as his puppet.
Cameron did a runner after Brexit and Clegg moved to the USA and landed a top job at FB.
Who was the clever one in the end?

I don't discriminate against (imaginary) bears, or other animals (even plants and other life (or non-life) forms, including viruses) on the basis of gender (or age, religion, etc.).
