Having woken up this morning and heading for a shower which usually does get me mobile again, I am still feeling stiff with aches and un-comfortable pain in my joints. It's times like this, when I wish I was in the Philippines and having a good massage. Just wondering how many members take advantage of the availability of a masseur or masseuse, usually known to family or friends. When my wife and I arrive after our long haul trip from uk, she always has her friend come to where we are staying the next day for a massage each after which I feel really relaxed and flexible again. How much these days is a good massage and how often do you personally recommend this treatment for relaxation and stiffness of joints and strains?
I miss those Philippine massages too. Oddly, massages have become much more affordable in the States in recent years, perhaps due in part to having the third world move here. I pay a Chinese lady here that does a wonderful job and clearly knows what she's doing, $60.00 for an hour, full body...plus a 20 buck tip. I'm not convinced this is the solution to what ails you though. I think we all need to exercise daily. Lift, walk, and stretch, at a minimum. It is just mandatory. You may be referring to those in the RP but I wanted to share what I gladly pay here.
That's more or less what you would pay here in UK £40- £50 for an hour session. Just finding the right person, my wife tends to go to the Thai one nearby.
