    One big solar flare, which we are overdue for, could knock us back to the stone age for years or decades. Our power grids are incredibly fragile. The 60s could, and probably will, be recreated if we don't figure out how to properly shield our electronics.

    Yesterday I had to do a 3 point turn around in my car as the road became in-travelable. When I began the turn I saw no traffic and sure enough along came 3 scooters! I stuck my hand out the window waving for them to wait 20 seconds but NOOOO. One drove behind me and I jutted on my brake, than another squeezed behind me and I slammed onto the brakes again. I waved at the third to give me a final 5 seconds to complete the turn and ended up near hitting the scooter as he also zipped behind me. Point being, there was a huge sale yesterday (2 pairs of flip=flops for the price of one)........ and I have no idea where.
