I not sure. Going down almost every vehicle drifts over the center line into oncoming traffic around the turn. Traffic coming up drifts to the shoulder. Likely due to the speed people are taking the turn at.

The lines are merely suggestions that everyone seems to ignore so, like you pointed out, it doesn't really matter. I just thought it looked bizarre, like x2 two lane roads that run parallel to each other with nothing splitting them.

Low intelligence population but highly complex rules and regulations. A perfect match.

For how long did you follow it?

Your next assignment (and a more tricky one - no photoshopping allowed): A line of vehicles in the Philippines voluntarily stopping at a pedestrian crossing.

Perhaps we need to change to: "It is more FUNerals in the Philippines!"

What they need is an illuminated sign like in some other countries that states in red DONT CROSS then in green CROSS NOW, but they would have to add IF YOU ARE FEELING LUCKY....

At least here they slow down (so far!) when I cross the road in their path - in Saigon I found out they carried on driving at full speed towards the pedestrian.

Here's the run down for UK
Double Yellow Lines at the side of the road ( Kerb ) means no parking at any time.
Single Yellow line at the side of the road means restricted no parking eg; between 8 am -6pm
Double White Lines in the centre of the road means no crossing lanes.
Continuous White line together with a broken White line in the centre of the road, means drivers on the broken white line side, may overtake if clear to do so.
That's why I choose not to drive outside UK.
