Can anybody tell me or recommend somewhere that does syringing of ears to remove earwax.
I had this done in the UK around 30 years ago as i had water trapped in my ear, now i have the same problem.

There's an ENT doctor in SUMC I can't remember his names but he's very good been to him twice. I went early and got my ticket then went for my breakfast in town then back again so I didn't have to wait long. Highly recommend him. Cost about P500 two years ago.

A long term solution is to purchase ear wax softener drops. Use one week out of every month. This will liquefy the ear wax so that it will come out naturally. Use every month to keeps from clogging up again.

You can probably get this cheaper at a local store.

Diluted hydrogen peroxide works well too. Whatever you do don't stick a q-tip in your ears.

Dr Simon Flores, Siliman Hospital. Superb, been to see him twice for earwax removal, also took our boy to him for the same reason. Far, far better than any earwax removal I had in the UK. He doesn't syringe he uses a vacuum technique, zero mess and 100% pain free.

That's the one I was referring to, couldn't think of his name. He puts a camera down your ear so you can see on a monitor what's what.

If you need to clear earwax from your ear canal, a few drops of mineral oil or baby oil usually does the trick. Put a few drops in one ear, allow it to soak for about five minutes, then, tilt your head to remove the oil. Do the same on the other side, if necessary.

It also helps if the oil is heated a little - but be careful not to get it too hot, unless you want to cook your head from the inside.

I had had problems with Ear wax for many years (used to get them syringed every 9 months or so) until three years ago, I had prior knowledge never to use Q tips I cleaned my ears with tightly screwed up tissue, until the time the Nurse was syringing my ears and said a piece of tissue come out with the wax, she gave me a stern talking to and said the only thing to put in your ears is your elbow and nothing else. I have been trouble free for 4 years now as the last time I was at the Docs they told me we no longer syringe ears and to oil them for two weeks and that will clear it, so I did that and now I do nothing at all to them apart from squirting the shower into my ear each time I wash, it is OK to scrape the very outer canal with a clean fingernail but cleaning as I used to do was only pushing the wax back into the canal, Vegetable oil of any type will soften wax be it Palm oil, Corn oil anything at all that you can fry an egg in, but always warm it like has already been suggested.
