Sorry to keep bothering you, I've completed the annual report and booked a time slot and date, it want's me to print the d*mn thing and I don't have a printer and can't find a download button to download it. Do I have to print the thing?
Jim, you can print the thing even without a printer, just choose "print" and when asked for the printer to send the document to, one of the options should be "print to file". Then choose as destination a usb memory stick and bring that to a print shop.
All they need is the appointment number. As far as I know. The guy ahead of me just showed them a screenshot and the girl copied the number.
So, no appointment needed to extend a tourist visa (probably because there's not many left who are still here on a tourist visa). If I'm wrong I'll find out tomorrow (going in for an extension).
You will be fine. Today I was at the BI to get my receipt for my annual report and they said tourists do not need an appointment. Asking WHY? crossed my mind but.....I didn't ask, I'm a coward and curiosity killed the cat. Good luck.
There are more Foreigners in the Philippines with Tourist visas than any other and no need to report. What would a Tourist need to report anyways. How much dog crap have they scraped off their shoes in the last 3 years?
