Here is a few pics of that Kitchen now finished, the overall cost was P25K and that included the sink. I forgot to mention I am short of 3 of the ceramic handles, they will be fitted later IMG_1381.JPG IMG_1383.JPG IMG_1384.JPG

Not only a kitchen but also an amazing amount of dedication.

Looks a really nice job, but can't see any window frames?
    I'm guessing they come later.

Window frames were never planned for, I'm not saying they will never be installed, but this is a semi outdoor kitchen and living area, it only has walls running parallel on two sides, one of which is the gable end of the house, the other two sides are open at this time, this is all under one big roof 200M2, the 2 bed,2 bath house is only 56M2 and the kitchen living area is around 40M2, I will only use the house to sleep in and the bathroom for my SSS.

Looks like a decent stove. That's brand new? Do you have/plan on buying any other new appliances? Will they all fit out the window? Where is this located? (Asking for a friend. :whistling:)

    • I was wondering about that too! I was wondering about that too! x 1

That is a new stove, if you recall I offered my old one to someone here recently on DI, the old one is far better than this new one but only it is black, I think I offered the old at 10K, the location is the north end of Smith street in West Balabagm 1.2klms from the Red Table.

Fit out the window??? you can drive a car in and out the kitchen it is open both ends.

You are have done a brilliant job Dave, never quite understood the expression " Dirty Kitchen" but I think to much time and care has gone into this construction, to be called that.
Excuse my ignorance but being open plan as it were, won't you be plagued by mossies especially of a night with lights on?

I cannot answer your question and I would not consider it ignorant, I lived in Mactan before coming here and I used to get many problems there with Mossie bites, but here it does seem to be less of a problem? now I do know someone here (a Foreigner)in Valencia) he has been here for many years, he thinks it tends to be less of a problem here than many other places in the Philippines. so if/when this does become a nuisace to me I can just enclose the area completely?
