    And they will drop the ball because they lost the cash flow. Do you honestly believe the government cares about tourism?? This place has alway had the same attitude,, cash in the pocket or votes,, one and the same.

    I agree with Andyflip in his view on how things is done in the Philippines, and don't think the gouverment care about tourists, but they care about the money tourists bring here

    I think that's a bit unfair. That is true of all governments, is it not? All politicians really care about is that tax revenue. That is also true of most businesses in the industry as well; extract as much money as you can from your target clientele, whatever their socioeconomic status. Tourism ain't charity.

    Can only speak for the UK.....but a certificate can be applied for online once you have had your 2nd vac + booster.
    This is because your medical health number is recorded with each jab.
    For those of us who are not resident in Philippines the question I am asking, is it safe to visit just yet?
    Having had covid once does not mean you won't get it a second time!
    With regards to Travel insurance, I would check it covers Covid, I very much doubt it, personally.

    AXA travel insurance covers covid-19 (if the country you visit is not considered as high risk)
