The up side is Black is possibly the easiest colour to match, down side if they polish it wrong it is the easiest colour to get buff swirl marks. A good painter and equipment reduces the polishing needed. A clean paint job out of the oven is the best job with no polishing. New paints don't need polish unless it has runs or dirt in the paint.

Just ask them to remove door handles, moulds, petrol flap, bumper etc rather than masking them with tape. If it cost a little extra better off paying.

Is there anyone in the city that does Ceramic Topcoat?
I had a car with ceramic topcoat. A couple of times someone dragged their bodywork across my bumper. When I got home their paint came off with a rag and some gasoline.

The paint on my fairly new Toyota scratches if it brushes anything, even a twig hanging out from the side of the road.

Most Ceramic coat clears are on Mercedes and some Audi. A few other brands but mainly these. Its a great product but you really need to be a skilled painter and have good equipment.

From a spray painters point cerami clear is a pain in the @ss. You have a window of a few hrs after bake cycle to polish out any imperfections. I'm guessing in Duma the standard of the spray booth is not too good and imperfections in the paint (dust) would be common hence giving a poor finish.

The bad part was that I was told to park there by someone that lived on the road (that was around 2 AM) and I asked if they were sure it was ok. So I wasn't intentionally being an @ss. The police, along with a growing civilian audience (it felt like my car had committed a violent crime while I was gone), were there when I went back to my car in the morning (about 5am) getting ready to write me a ticket. After they saw the scratch they put their ticket book away and expressed their displeasure with the action the person, which I suspect was the person that called them, took.

Very vindictive person who ever they are. They should confront the person who parked the car and not key the car.
