It was 1 1/2 hours for driving license renewal? Or to exchange a temporary driving license for a laminated permanent driving license?
The time at the LTO was 1 1/2 hrs for a renewable license. She has relatives in Santa Catalina she stops at so not sure of the actual driving time. My guess would be 2 hours.
The most time consuming part for me was taking the test on the computer. The rest of the process took about 10-15 minutes on Dumaguete LTO.
Your gf help you with the test? I find it amazing that you can take the test at home with out anyone knows who answer the questions in the test
No, I wanted to pass the test so I did it on my own. It's quite easy for anyone who learned to drive in the west. There are a few questions that are Philippines specific that I would have had to Google to know for certain and a few that are worded poorly that appeared to have multiple correct answers but I still got 90%+ correct. There is a 30 or 60 minute time limit to compete the test. I didn't ask if I could take the LTO computer home with me but I don't think I would have had enough time to do so even if allowed. I guess if you lived close enough you could pull it off if they will let you.
I have not yet any personal experience with the driving test on computer I write as I did because a friend told me you could take the test at home, but of course there can be special reasons that LTO aloud you take the test from home, again no personal experience, my information was third hand
Sounds like he may be confusing the 5 year drivers license test (1 hour) and the 10 year drivers license training course (15 year).
It may be the online practice tests he is referring to. As I understand if you go through all of the online practice tests you will have seen all of the test questions that will be given at the LTO.
