In October I passed through Hong Kong airport. To get from the arrival level to the departure level for my connecting flight there was a checkpoint where the staff was dressed in that very same costume. They also checked all my vaccination documents.
Aren't there already measures in place to deal with this? Were there not different requirements for people coming from different countries to the Philippines? Green/yellow/red. In addition, there is a vaccination requirement and we all have heard how well the Chinese vaccine works. The wife flies through HK in Feb, so thanks for the update.
Largest outbreak in the history of Covid...Millions of cases a day.... no need to revisit the 48 hr testing..... okay
I'm talking from the Philippines immigration perspective. The US just implemented a special entry requirements for people traveling from China. Easy peasy.
