Something like that would never happen in Dumaguete. Well except for the 3 radio personalities/journalists murdered in the last 2 or 3 years. There is a lot to say about them but.......no further comment. My wife wants me to keep some opinions here on my porch.
You can't make this stuff up. After Bantag’s suspension, weapons, alcohol, methamphetamine and mobile phones were discovered inside the prison. It emerged that a large pit had been dug close to his quarters, and a menagerie of horses, game fowl and snakes was being kept onsite. Bantag has told local media he was building a swimming pool to train prison staff in scuba diving so they could help with rescue efforts during bad weather. The horses were used to travel through the compound, while the snakes were used for pest control, he said. Makes sense to me.........lol.
Absolutely perfect sense as one horse would not do as it's more fun in the Philippines, (caveat), unless you open your mouth once to often. I don't, have not told the wife as can't see any upside there. We all know what is what in the real world and a subtle reminder of the hard facts occasionally confirms this. Luckily we all have access to sources from a few media outlets that are fearless reporting calling how they see it.
