Dumaguete If you are looking for a nice mix of excitement and relaxation, Dumaguete is a great destination to consider. You can take advantage of peace and serenity at a bird sanctuary, watching dolphins, or relax by the water. Or you can feed your adventurous side with an active volcano, swim at Pulangbato Falls, or explore the outdoor market full of exotic food.
Yeah, I used to write that kind of crap for bloggers at $5 for 500 words on Ffiver. Its all BS to generate traffic.
So you are saying that Dumaguete is actually a terrible place compared to other places in the Philippines?
*sigh* Are those my words? I simply said that type of article is BS. Could even be written by a robot. Has as much chance of being true as not. Here is another example of that kind of BS. How many island are there in the Philippines? For decades expats would tell you that it is 7,107. But the thing is the government source for that was Wikipedia and the source for Wikipedia was the government source. I pointed that out a decade ago and met with some laughter. Now it is understood that the number of island is the Philippines is "more than 7100" but people really do not know the exact number.
Here's the official government take based on NPO district for 2021. https://didm.pnp.gov.ph/images/sidebar_pdf/crimestat/Jan_-_Dec_2021_for_SMT.pdf
When the Miss Philippines was a contestant in the Miss World competition a few years back she was asked " how many islands are there" she gave a brilliant answer........High tide or low tide?
