I wish there were sandwich shops here for lunch. In the US, I could find a tuna and avocado, hot pastrami. corn beef on rye, etc most anywhere, for example. In London I had Pret A Manger, even in Sydney I had Subway. Here, at Why Not deli one can create a sandwich. Anywhere else?
I'm normally stuck with a peanut and jelly sandwich at home.

Are you serious, Jolly sh*t is not food, tbh I'd eat my own before that direness. You're obviously taking the P...

What is the issue with making your own? Are you on a rush to your grave? Now I don't eat bread regardless. Philippines food has to much sugar.

I stated that Jollibee had opened a Place in Liverpool UK, I didnt say I choose to eat there.
Yes I do on occasions eat McDonald's food and also Burger King too, in the UK, no I'm not a vegetarian but only use fast food outlets for convenience.
I much prefer my own home cooking, I'm sure there are times when most people may not feel like cooking so take the easy way out.
At 77 years of age I can't say I'm in a rush to my grave, more the saying, "A little of what you fancy does you good"
I have always considered everything in moderation, at 10st in weight and a waist of 34" I feel I have the balance about right.
On the last occasion of seeing a Doctor, he was shocked at my reply, I don't take any medication other than eye drops unless I pick up an infection!
So when you are not busy preparing your own food, what restaurant's do you eat at and what do you choose from the menu?

My condolences regards McShite and Burger Crap indulgences. No amount of anything could avail me to that or the animals suffering John boy. Best food IMO is Indian or Thai definitely not Filipino. Grilled fish or steamed good but no fried. The English don't do food Lol, but I like one of my "proper" salads. Your weight is excellent btw, well done sir. I just think to many people eat incorrectly and find it difficult to not be drawn in by the sh*t offered of rather pushed down their throats if on offer 24/7... Literally, life's short enough without the profit mentality abusing people in this area.

    Appreciate your reply....

For those who can afford to purchase fresh food and with the knowledge of how to cook it, another factor comes in, how not to waste it!
Very often rather than waste food, people will either over eat it rather than reheat food the next day.
Then of course, much as I personally enjoy a "Sunday Roast " unless we have guest's its not practical to spend so much time in preparation and cooking for two, ( without all the washing up!)
although every so often I will cook a joint of meat along with vegetable's, the leftovers are eaten either in a sandwiches or chilled for another meal a couple of days later.
So yes fast food has its place in Society, but like I said everything in moderation..
Find that a strange statement, however I can tell you that the fish caught around the British coastline, is mostly sold to the European market at a better price.
    Cheers.....JB

I am reasonably satisfied at being 76 kg .... your 63.5 kg seem VERY impressive. BUT it depends on height John! If you are 6ft 6 ins then that is very impressive and you are the quintessential "Matchstick Man" but if you are only 2ft 11 ins then you are a bit dumpy!

With my own weight regime I have thought of going down a bit, to maybe 72 kg (I am 5ft 11 ins), but I think it is essential to have some spare weight in case of illness - during such times we could lose weight rapidly and if already near the minimum safe level for that individual, we could be in danger very soon.

Btw, I am not a great fan of people writing things such as "Are you in a rush to the grave" but a common (used in the best possible way) friend of ours calls me a "coffin dodger" and I am not going to name him (ok, @DAVE1952!).

You know what they say about the Scottish.....you can tell a Scottish man but you can't tell him much!
The best medicine is not to take life too seriously, smile alot it exercises the facial muscles, Cheers JB

I calculated your BMI (based on your figures provided and, as a Christian, I am sure they are true) and it is almost on 25, so you are fine. Hope you don't mind me publishing this data! BMI is not everything and they say we older statesmen should worry less about our weight as long as it is within a healthy range.

Or after you met her did you stop wearing the heels?

A'richt jimmy ye cannae say that tae a scots jimmy wi'oot getting a caber pushed up yer ****.
