From Heads Up NegOr News Facebook Page: Foreign national found dead A Sketchy Report received by Bacong PNP that a body of a Foreign National was found dead inside his rented apartment at Purok 4, Brgy. Liptong, Bacong, Negros Oriental at around 08:42 AM of May 16, 2023. The foreigner was identified as Hunter Brown, more or less 55 years old, single and an American citizen. Police said that upon their arrival, the foreign national was found lifeless on the floor in his rented apartment. PNP Bacong immediately requested the SOCO personnel for investigation. Does anyone know the cause of death ? Seems to be the usual news blackout now. The photo i saw of the apartment showed what could have been blood on the floor.
SOCO means Scene of the Crime Operation, so I would strongly expect there's at least suspicion it wasn't a natural death.
FOREIGNER FOUND DEAD IN BACONG An American national was found dead in his rented apartment at Purok 4, Barangay Liptong in Bacong at around 8:42 in the morning on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. Bacong police have identified the foreigner as Hunter Brown, 55 years old, and a US citizen. According to police, when they arrived at the alleged area, they found the alien on the floor of his rented apartment lifeless. SOCO personnel were also very responsive. According to the investigation, it has been known that the cause of the foreigner's death was caused by a "natural death".
55...still youngish.....that is awful. I hear of these all over the Philippines. In some cases it's no surprise - they went there in ill health...in other cases it is a broken heart over a wife to be - or a wife that wasn't, or just a better retirement over a trailer park at home - that didn't work out.....It's always sad and I hope the American community can give him a decent burial.
Yes it's always sad when a person's life is cut short, but best not to make assumptions. From what I have read here on the Forum, he could well of lead life to the extremes, if he was a stuntman chances are he was also very fit. Many times when people follow extreme fitness/ sports they often over tax their bodies, in some cases to their own detriment. Whatever ever the case may be here, there's no mention so far of family ties as of yet, best wait and see what develops.
