Has anyone ever filed a complaint to authorities in Dumaguete about a dentist? If so, who to file with and is it worth the time?
May be worth the time, but this is the Philippines where consequences should be weighed in heavily when stirring up a Filipino and their livelihood & or reputation. Best to learn from a bad experience and use another Dentist next time. A Foreigner often will stand to loose more than they gain in such scenarios....IMHO
Agree 100 percent, a zero sum game, but would be nice if OP would elaborate for those of us who need dental in the future...
Agree. Of coarse there is always a time to complain but if it leads to controversy for a Foreigner (it very well may) the complaint should be weighed and or certain factors should be considered in going forward with the complaint. After all........ Foreigners have been complaining for decades and little has changed.
If you are really pissed. Make up a fake email with bogus information, join a forum and use a vpn to hide your IP address. If you really want to be thorough, temporarily edit the mac address on your nic. For those who don't know what a mac address is: A computer is identified by a unique Media Access Control address (MAC), which is built in your computer's network card.

The whole set-up is very professional. If only every service was the same, we would be living in Paradise. I have no connection to this service, except as a patient.
I actually have tried 2 in duma, both were terrible. Dont go to Portal West. The last one was in Lapu Lapu.
I had my third teeth cleaning today with Dr. Garupa. She is great. No cavities each time. I switched to her because her reputation was very good. I can agree. The reason I switched, my prior lady dentist who I used for many years, would always find 3 cavities that needed p500 fillings at every 6 months cleaning, never failed. She must have been drilling out the old fillings and replacing with new. I can not prove it was unnecessary so I will not give her name, instead will just recommend Dr. Garupa.
