History Channel has an interesting (IMO) history on UFO sightings. So much unexplained. I enjoy the subject.
UFO sightings have been reported for decades, why now all the fuss (congressional hearings even)? My first thought is; another distraction for the public to consume.

Some time ago I read an interview with an astrophysicist (unfortunately I forgot his name). He said forget UFO's. To overcome these distances where they probably might come from is not possible with our knowledge. Unless there is something other than Einstein's theory of relativity. Maybe the opposite is true. We were "invented" and are being allowed to live as an experiment ..........to see how long it takes us to f*ck everything up
Nobody can give a definite answer to that question, but the guy in the video makes a d*mn strong case for "yes" .
We humans are not flying these craft extraterrestrials are and they come from someplace in the universe where their technology is way ahead of ours. The increased UFO activity started after Oppenheimer exploded the first A-bomb. The belief is they are concerned we are going blow up this planet and kill off not only human kind but the non human biologics( ET's) living here. One of the whistle blowers to a US Senate Oversight committee has stated than the US government and certain aerospace companies have recovered UFO craft from crash sites as far back as Roswell (Area 51) in the fifties and have been working on reverse engineering these craft. We are not alone!
Well, that's exactly the point. It's not about extraterrestrial technology, it's about physics. Technically speaking these extraterrestials, if they exist at all, are probably already much further ahead us. But in order to overcome these vast distances, they would have to travel faster than the speed of light. And according to this physicist, the theory of realtivity applies throughout the unviverse.
