    Well, it's Bacong festive time.
So, Friday started with my next door neighbor with a half decent music of slow rock and some blues, great. finished about 3am. ( I must have slept 2 hours)
Saturday morning 5 am start, Karaoke till late, some terrible singers finished about 3 am.
Sunday morning 5am disco crap non stop all day and night and is ongoing same track It's Monday morning and not changed the track.
Wind and rain never stopped this fecker.

Jim try 24hr O solo mio, ( give it to me, full blast ) either that or some good German marching song.......just a thought JB
While on holiday many years ago with a young daughter, for two nights we were disturbed by drunken yobs in the apartement next door about 2am in the morning.
early next day I got up, picked up two pans went the bathroom and banged as loud as I could, shouting in between "Silient Night"
Never heard a sound after that for the rest of the week, the wife thought I had gone mad but it did the trick.

Reminds me of a short vacation in Amsterdam, with four young guys in the room next door playing music and talking loudly until 3am for three nights.

Had to leave early for a flight after that so moved the radio provided in the room at 5am into the wardrobe that backed onto their room, cranked up the volume full and checked out.

But I thank the Lord that we don't have any such issues where we live, just very occasional karaoke that sounds like a guy dying.

When it's this bad Jim I would book into a hotel or resort until the fiesta is over....you'll get a good night's sleep and keep your sanity. Feel for you mate

Then again it depends in which country you were on holiday. In Thailand i.e. not a good idea and for that matter in the Philippines neither.

    But it's their culture Jim,

Culture another english word they have basterdized.

    Culture definitions below
the arts and other manifestations of human intellectual achievement regarded collectively:
    "20th century popular culture"
the customs, arts, social institutions, and achievements of a particular nation, people, or other social group:

As far as i see it the culture here is to not give a feck about anybody else on the planet.
Also seen by the way most people here drive on the PUBLIC highway as if nobody else exists.

My definition of filipino culture = selfish cvnts
