Does anyone have a positive experience with shipping documents from Dumaguete or Siquijor to the US? I need a reliable courier service that ships from the PH to the US. Thanks ahead.

I've used LBC twice with no problems, but not to US.

I recently used their 'Express' to send 'Proof of Life ' to UK. Cost about P2000 and took 3 weeks to reach UK. They use EMS courier, and I think the mail sits in DGT until they accumulate a 'full pouch'

.....and then the pouch goes to the port in Cebu where it sits until the container is full. Then the container gets shipped to Manila where it is actually processed. The DGT Post Office told me it could take 4 to 6 weeks to get a "first class" letter to Manila depending on how I hit the timing of the container in Cebu. They (the Post Office) suggested I go to LBC....and I did!

I recently used LBC to send a letter to Manila from Dumaguete, at the counter we were told it would take 1 day but it took 3.

If you know someone in the UK, you can email the proof of living form and ask them to post it to DWP.

    There's a thought! I didn't think they would accept a scanned copy.

Yep, done it two times running. Just phone them before you do it, to make sure.
