I just read the news about the shooting at the Trump rally, that must be his luckiest day ever. The bullet only hit his ear. Another 3 people not so lucky, 1 dead and 2 critical. Sounds like a massive failure by his security team.
At that short distance a military-trained sniper would no have missed. I guess the 20 yr old man got his shooting squirrels.
I assume that every supporter will be saddened that an attempt to assassinate him took place (and came very close to success) and every non-supporter will be sad it did not succeed. But to every rule there will always be exceptions.
Some people are sad the assassination attempt was a failure others that it was attempted. Sadly people are not as concerned when a grade 3 classroom gets shot up or concert goers are gunned down.
I saw a video that shows Trump turned his head to the right at the moment the shot was fired so i think not so much bad shooting but lucky lucky lucky Trump.
