Hi guys, I am wondering if PVC gutter is available anywhere in or around Dumaguete. I believe it could be ordered on Lazada or Alibaba but would like to know if any hardware store in town is also either stocking it or taking orders… Has anyone installed it and how pleasing is the result? I am almost certain that Uy Matiao has it (and probably a bunch of other building supplies stores also). Don't be misled when you enter the shop, after passing the workstations on the left, but before the guarded entry, walk left and right at the end to the back of the shop where they stock/sell the big size stuff. Just in case, they are located on the main shopping street in downtown, Perdices, opposite Greenwich.
I have seen this in the hardware stores either in Triumph or the one next to City Hardware and I thought it looked good and quite robust, The best available you can order through DN steel this being the Imac roofing brand, I bought my uPVC roofing sheets through them, note there is a difference between PVC and uPVC with the latter being UV stable. These sheets I used were a joy to work with almost unbreakable, a man can jump on them but they will not distort, I never did use the guttering which I now regret, even on the hottest days the attic stays reasonably cool mind you this does have extreme ventilation. Arrangements can be made for you to go and look at this roof on that house I built which is in Valencia
